Selectmen Meeting Minutes
October 7, 2008
Hanson Middle School
Present: ~Donald Howard, Stephen Amico, James Egan and James Armstrong (Late) Christopher Colclough absent. ~Also present Town Administrator Michael Finglas and Meredith Marini, Executive Assistant. ~~
7:00 p.m. Chairman Egan called the meeting to order.
Item I Close Classification Hearing – Assessor Cindy Long was present and informed the Board that the Access Levy Capacity was $2,695.09 and the tax rate has been set at $10.71 per $1,000.00. The recap sheet will be filed the next day.
MOTION by Howard, second by Amico to approve the Access Levy Capacity as presented. Voted 3 – 0
MOTION by Amico, second by Howard to close the Classification Hearing. Voted 3 – 0.
7:04 p.m. Jim Armstrong arrived.
The Board briefly discussed the meeting of area Selectmen scheduled for October 16th in Norwell. Mrs. Marini will confirm date and time and post if necessary.
MOTION by Howard, second by Amico to adjourn. Voted 4 – 0
